Introducing our Creative Showcase winner for 2022, Australian photographer Zoe Kostopoulos. Selected from 1000’s of entries by our panel of judges, her shoot, titled Unknown, examines the space between knowing ourselves and navigating an unknown future.
"My work aims to interrogate how the manipulation of an image extends its uses and functions within a commercial setting," she shared.
"The work I submitted, titled Unknown, is the space between knowing ourselves and navigating an unknown future. Seen through the last years of lockdown, we transition from one space to another."

What is Creative Showcase and how does it work?
For the first time ever, RUSSH invited emerging creatives – stylists and photographers – to enter our creative showcase with a chance to have their eight-page editorial placed within the 100th issue of RUSSH.
Our mission with this initiative was to provide emerging creatives with the opportunity to have their work and profiles showcased across our platforms; fostering their growth further with access to free workshops and resources that will encourage their creative development in the long term.
The 20 finalist selection – which included our People's Choice winner, Jokew Wuol – was made in accordance with the visual language and aesthetic tone RUSSH has become known for across the past 100 issues. We are in support of pure creative expression and value original and authentic work above everything else and our panel of judges are in support of equal opportunity.
