There was plenty of fashion-y goodness to bask in on the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards. So much, in fact, that we almost missed a very shiny ring on Zendaya's left hand... almost. The actress channelled Old Hollywood glamour for the first awards ceremony of the season, donning an sunburnt orange gown by Louis Vuitton, paired with classic Bulgari jewellery. However, one piece of jewellery in particular appeared not to be from Bulgari, but the work of London-based diamond specialist, Jessica McCormack.

The ring — and the apparent designer behind it — was picked up via a blind item sent into celebrity gossip account Deux Moi. According to the submission, the ring is "a $200,000 engagement ring" with the poster adding, "she's not even hiding it but no one seems to have noticed!"
While it is, of course, all speculation at this point, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that Zendaya and long-time boyfriend Tom Holland might have formalised their relationship with a holiday engagement. A subtle soft-launch at the Golden Globes would also be very on brand for the A-list couple, who have kept things very low key since striking up a romance circa 2021.
According to TMZ, Holland popped the question over Christmas, "in a very intimate setting in one of Zendaya's family homes in the United States." The publication also reported, "Tom didn't make a huge show of the engagement — it wasn't a big, over-the-top proposal — instead, it was very romantic and intimate. Our sources say the family wasn't there... it was just a sweet moment between Tom and Zendaya."
Adding fuel to the fire, the actress donned the jewellery again the following day with a completely different look, this time for a press event around Challengers.
no this is so funny because zendaya has ALWAYS talked with her right hand in interviews and now she's switched to her left just for the ring pic.twitter.com/SghJKxS8e3

While we'll have to wait for the 28-year-old herself to confirm her relationship status, in the meantime, we couldn't help do a deep dive into the designer who dreamt up the oh-so impressive rock. And, as it turns out, she's also the brains behind several other celebrity engagement rings. Allow us to fill you in, below.
Who is Jessica McCormack?
Jessica McCormack is a London-based jewellery designer who specialises in diamonds. Amidst everyday jewels from anklets to earrings, she also has a line of incredibly covetable engagement rings, with a penchant for simple designs that really allow the diamond to sing.
While still unconfirmed, Zendaya's ring best resembles the East-West Cushion Diamond design on McCormack's website. Naturally, Zendaya's is likely custom-made, however the website advertises this design with a 5.02ct stone, set in a Georgian style cut-down setting in 18k white gold & yellow gold.

Amidst her engagement to Channing Tatum, Zoë Kravitz was also a fan of McCormack's designs, rocking a classic cushion-cut diamond ring when she was engaged to the actor. And while not a traditional diamond, Dakota Johnson marked her engagement to Chris Martin with a very impressive emerald, custom set in McCormack's signature Georgian Loop style.
