She's the fresh faced Indie Folk/Pop Artist that at just 20 years old, through her lyrical prowess, introspectively ruminates on the vulnerability of adoration and the complications of self-discovery. And most importantly, she counts the RUSSH team as major fans!
We can't help but betroth our time to not only listening to her songs on long drives, but her gentle presence on TikTok, documenting from the start her journey to becoming an emerging artist today. Taking us behind the scenes on her tours, where she has supported the likes of artists, HAIM and Florence and The Machine, where her most popular videos are the ones she creates with her family.

From hometown Kildare, Ireland to London England
Born on the 30th of April, 2003, the Taurus born singer while on the emergence to fame, is really just like every other girl, with herspoken love for Gilmore Girls and Letterboxd.
Writing music since the age of 12 years old, Nell released her first debut single Crash in 2020, where the year after she performed on stage by the side of Phoebe Bridgers. In her 6th year of school, at the age of 17 years old, she dropped out of high school in Kildare to move to London. In pursuit of her music career she began touring and supporting artists at festivals and UK leg of tours.
Recently finishing her first UK tour, Nell is releasing her first EP Can I Miss It For A Minute this May, her first single from the album Killing Time has been released, that you may have heard it circulating around Tiktok. With an tour completed and an EP on the way, we can only predict 2024 is the year of Nell Mescal, that we beckon the question what will she do next?

You definitely know her family
Some of our favourite social media content from Nell are her TikTok's with her family. Being the youngest sibling, Nell has two older brothers Donnacha and Paul Mescal, who's not just known as Nell's big brother, you probably didn't know but is actually an Actor himself. Making the occasional appearance on his sisters social media pages, whether he's capturing a mirror selfie for his sister or singing together by the piano, the duo never miss an opportunity to prove they might be the most loveable siblings.

We can't get over her style
On tour, Nell's wardrobe varies in the palette of the darker hues such as black with pops of pastels, wearing a variety of playful combination of textures and materials commonly sheerness with a master in layering. Perhaps one of our favourite and most real looks, was her wearing a custom t-shirt with Roman from Succession on it.
Her blended street style is made up of a classic coquette femininity, mixed with a graphic tee laid back spirit. On red carpets recently Stylist Molly Ellison has been dressing her, where her most recent red carpet debut was at the 2024 Baftas, wearing a sleeveless sheer black Tory Burch dress with Gucci accessories.
