The nepo baby universe is ever expanding, and Apple Martin, the elusive daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, is the latest celebrity offspring to command the spotlight.
She first came to our attention in early 2023, popping up at Paris Couture Fashion Week alongside her mother, to attend the Chanel Spring Summer '23 show, where she was dressed by the brand in a black and white tweed skirt suit. But now, the 20-year-old has returned to the city of lights, this time as an attendee of Le Bal des Débutantes.
The Parisienne ball has long been the chosen platform for notable young women (many of them fellow nepo babies) to make their debut into society, from Lily Collins and Annabelle Dexter-Jones, to Margaret Qualley and Ava Philippe. Of course, attendees need a gown suitable for such a momentous occasion—a brief Martin certainly understood, wearing a custom sky-blue Valentino gown, that reportedly took 750 hours to create.
Up until recently, Martin has flown fairly under the radar, leading as normal of a childhood as any celebrity child might get close to. So could her attendance mean she's finally ready to assume her position as Hollywood's next It Girl? Below, get to know the nepo baby of the moment, with all the important details on Apple Martin,

Who is Apple Martin?
Apple Martin is the daughter of actress and Goop founder, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay. She is 20 years old and is currently attending college at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Texas. She grew up away from the spotlight, and despite her Chanel debut, seems to want to keep it that way, given the private status of her Instagram account.
What does she do?
At this stage, nothing but the things that a regular college kid would do (except attend Chanel shows). Martin has not yet shown any public interest in acting or in music, but we're sure we'll hear about it if she does decide to endeavour into that territory. Either way, being a new nepo fashion muse is seemingly on the cards in her near future.

She's also got some undeniable music talents (likely thanks to her Coldplay musician father). At a Boys & Girls Club fundraiser in 2016, Martin took to the stage alongside her dad, where she sang a rendition of Ariana Grande’s hit 'Just a Little Bit of Your Heart.' She was also credited as a co-writer on Coldplay's song, 'Let Somebody Go' at just 17-years-old.
