At this point, we've got our fingers crossed Simon Porte Jacquemus and Tekla team up for good. Have you seen that collaboration?
When we heard that both beloved labels were coming together, it immediately felt right; like when Greta Gerwig cast Florence Pugh as Amy March or Marc Jacobs' Heaven joined forces with Dr. Martens. So consider this our official petition, a prayer of sorts, that there's a Jacquemus x Tekla 2.0 rolling towards us at lightning speed. More importantly because the drop is half sold out, and it's only been live five hours.
Naturally, the campaign is beautiful. A couple cosies up on a pristine and secluded black-pebbled beach, wrapped in duvets, bathrobes and layers upon layers of the collection. There's Komondor dogs. A Christmas tree appears in one image, a gentle nudge to the holiday season ahead and the many gifts that still need to be purchase. Nice job, Simon Porte.

So were our predictions right? Spot on, to be completely honest with you. We sensed there would be an assortment of bedding and loungewear, and one scroll through Jacquemus' online store confirms it. The most hyped style from the collection happens to be the Le Peignoir bathrobe, a blue-striped terry-towelling piece with buttons and a sash that sold out hours ago. Then there's the cotton striped boxer shorts, which are long gone in case you were wondering. Their smaller counterparts are still available though, in both an earthy brown and that sky blue. If full-length pyjamas are your thing, there's still time to snatch a pair up.
As for the bedding and towelling? As the pricier things in the collection, espresso-coloured flat sheets and creamy fitted sheets are up for grabs, as are the duvets, pillows and body-swallowing towels. I've got the La Serviette towel in my cart as we speak, with plans for the beach on my mind.
Meanwhile, the bandana makes for a winning Christmas gift, arriving in four colourways; Boro Stripe, Hopper, Blue White Stripe and Brown Stripe.
