Willem Dafoe has entered his fashion era, beginning as a pizza boy for Palace

Everyone's favourite silver fox is getting down with the cool kids. Willem Dafoe has been tapped for the searing hot collaboration between London skateboarding label Palace and Calvin Klein, as a pizza boy and taxi driver, no less. Quite rightly this news has sent us into overdrive.

The cool kids in question? Just a motley crew of London and New York City's finest. Namely, Lourdes Leon (who is the hill I will personally die on), heart throb Adwoa Aboah, a glowing Precious Lee, and a handful of the Palace core skateboarding team which includes SP da Ghost. In the short clips accompanying the announcement on Instagram, we see Dafoe wearing his signature beanie in a pizza shop, answering a phone call from Leon who asks if she Palace Pet Shop. "We don't sell pets, just slices and pies," is his reply. We then catch him as a NYC cabbie driving SP da Ghost to "Tompkins".

As if we weren't already frothing at the mouths, Palace and Calvin Klein have somehow managed to secure British icon Neil Tennant of Pet Shop Boys and the infinitely glam Joan Collins for the campaign, with the track West End Girls playing in the background.

From what we can gather there will be a drop of cotton underwear, denim and a fresh iteration on Calvin Klein's classic perfume 'One'. Other than that, it doesn't matter that the details of the collaboration are scarce, with as much heat as this, it's bound to sell out instantly anyway. And as Joan Collins put it, "Calvin Klein and Palace...who saw that coming?"

As for Willem Dafoe, consider this the actor officially cutting the ribbon and entering his fashion era. After all, his love for fashion (and Prada more specifically) is no secret. Watch designers fight over him like the last piece of pizza. Delicious.

You can shop the Calvin Klein x Palace collaboration when it drops online at each respective website in Australia on Saturday, April 9 at 12pm AEST.
