The time has come to reflect on your music habits, and Spotify Wrapped 2024 is just around the corner. Wrapped provides an exciting and personaliSed review of your year in music, highlighting your top songs, favourite artists, most-played genres, and even quirky stats like how many minutes you spent listening.
If you're an app user, you would have received a pop-up from Wednesday 27 November letting you know that the yearly round-up is on its way to you soon. Here's what we know so far...
When will it be released?
The music streaming app's highly anticipated annual recap is expected to drop in early December 2024, as tradition dictates. Last year, in 2023, it was released on 29 November. In 2022, it was 30 November, and in 2021 it was released on 1 December. If these are anything to go by, we'd say they're likely to drop within the week – around Wednesday 4 December.
How do I find mine?
Spotify Wrapped will be available exclusively in the Spotify mobile app, making it easy to explore your year in music on the go. Once the feature launches, you’ll find a dedicated Wrapped banner on the app’s home screen.
Tapping this will open your personalised Wrapped story – a vibrant, interactive experience that takes you through your top tracks, artists, and more.
Additionally, Spotify will send notifications to eligible users, ensuring you don’t miss your Wrapped moment.
Can I share it?
For those who enjoy sharing their stats, Wrapped also generates aesthetically pleasing graphics perfect for posting on Instagram, TikTok, and beyond. Expect shareable highlights such as your “Top 5 Artists,” “Top 5 Songs,” and even your “Listening Personality,” which offers a playful twist on how your music choices define you.
What is it?
Every year, Spotify's annual Wrapped feature sparks social media trends as users compete to share their most surprising or quirky listening habits. Whether it’s discovering that Charli XCX dominated your year or finding out you’re in the top 0.01% of Clairo fans, Wrapped lets users revel in their unique tastes.
