After a week of teasing the release of the roundup all week, starting with a post to X on Monday that read, “Any guesses on your Top 5 songs of 2024?”, followed by an in-app pop-up on Wednesday 27 November, here's how you can access your Spotify Wrapped for an exciting and personalised review of your year in music.

The top global artists in Spotify Wrapped 2024
Taylor Swift was Spotify’s 2024 Global Top Artist for the second year running, following the release of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. Taking second place was The Weeknd, followed by Bad Bunny in third place. The remaining artists in the top 10 are:

- Billie Eilish
- Travis Scott,
- Peso Pluma
- Kanye West
- Ariana Grande
- Feid
Closer to home, The Wiggles were the top local artist in Australia. They were followed closely by The Kid Laroi, AC/DC, Vance Joy, and RÜFÜS DU SOL.

Spotify Wrapped is available exclusively in the Spotify mobile app, making it easy to explore your year in music on the go. Simple open the Spotify app, where you’ll find a dedicated Wrapped banner on the home screen.
Tapping this will open your personalised Wrapped story – a vibrant, interactive experience that takes you through your top tracks, artists, and more.
Additionally, Spotify sends notifications to eligible users, ensuring you don’t miss your Wrapped moment. Wrapped is available to users with and without Premium subscriptions.
When was Spotify Wrapped 2024 released?
Historically, Wrapped been released anywhere from 29 November until 6 December. This year, the music streaming app's highly anticipated annual recap dropped overnight on December 4, 2024.
Last year, in 2023, it was released on 29 November. In 2022, it was 30 November, and in 2021 it was released on 1 December.
