Girl From the North Country and Moonlight Cinema: Here’s what is happening across Australia this weekend

It's the first weekend of 2022 already and we're intent on keeping up the optimism. That's why we've trawled the internet, rung up our pals, and tuned our ears to pick up the best things to do this weekend. With the weather looking a little damp across the country, we've made sure to include a round of indoor activities alongside the usual outdoor events.

As for those in NSW, with restrictions slowly creeping back in we've had to farewell dance floors for now, as per the state governments instructions. But this doesn't mean there's less activities to immerse yourself in. Between the opening weekend of Girl From the North Country at Theatre Royal Sydney, the AGNSW's Matisse exhibition, and the soothing presence of Moonlight Cinema, there's much joy to be found this weekend.

So for a non-exhaustive list of things to do this weekend across Australia, look no further. Happy Weekend!
