What’s on this November across Australia

November is notoriously one of the busiest months of the year, so properly planning how you’re going to spend your precious free time is imperative. Luckily for you, we’ve done the hard work. Below, read the RUSSH-approved guide to exactly what’s going on across the country this month, from delectable food markets to must-see exhibitions, and everything in between.

 

NSW

The Rocks will be home to a string of free events beginning this month, including a Laneway Cinema every Wednesday, a Run Club on Tuesdays, and Yoga Under The Bridge every Sunday Morning.

On November 23, Three Blue Ducks will host a ‘Meet the Makers’ lunch, featuring Mem Hemmings, Three Blue Ducks beverage manager and founder/winemaker of Meredith by Mem wines. The event will be held at Nimbo Fork Lodge.

From Wednesday 13th to Friday 15th November, two-hatted Melbourne fine-dining institution, Ishizuka, will bring its revered Japanese cuisine, Kaiseki, to Sydney for a limited-time residency at Gaggenau Sydney.

Woollahra Hotel will host a series of live Mariarchi Band performances, as part of the Festival of Tequila. The lively sessions will take place on the 3rd, 5th, and 10th of November.

Award-winning podcaster, author, screenwriter, and journalist Dolly Alderton will celebrate her latest book, Good Material, with three shows at the Sydney Opera House. 'An Evening With Dolly' will take place from the 5th - 7th November.

 

QLD

The 'Made Local' market will return to the Brisbane Showgrounds for two days, on November 9 and 10, featuring stalls from over 120 local artists.

Brisbane's Breakfast Creek Lifestyle Precinct will gather a host of scenic rim providers to share their produce at the Farm Gate to City Door Market on Saturday, 30 November.

Wicked will continue its run in Brisbane, with performances scheduled at QPAC until 24 November.

Watch the sun set amongst the vineyards of Sirromet Wines in Mount Cotton, with 'Twilight in the Vines', every Saturday and Sunday from November 9.

 

VIC

Coldplay's 'Music Of The Spheres' tour will hit Marvel Stadium from October 30 until November 3.

Sebastian Beach Bar will commemorate its reopening with live music, a sunset DJ session, $6 sangrias and $2 oysters on Sunday, November 3.

The State Rose and Garden Show will kick off on November 9 at Werribee park for a free, two-day celebration of all things floral.

THE LUME will showcase the work of Leonardo da Vinci this month with an immersive exhibition, featuring a 360º replica of Mona Lisa, plus cutting-edge AI and VR interactive technologies.

'Accidentally Ws Anderson: The Exhibition' will continue in the CBD this month, showcasing the real-life locations that inspired Anderson's work.

 

SA

OzAsia Festival's Lucky Dumpling Market will take over the banks of Karrawirra Parri/River Torrens until November 10, with authentic Asian cuisine from Korea, Vietnam, India, the Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, India, Malaysia and more.

The 2024 Multicultural Festival will take place on Sunday, November 24, showcasing nearly 60 cultures through music, dance, heritage, arts and crafts, and culinary delights.

Feast Festival is Adelaide’s Premier LGBTQIA+ Arts and Cultrual Festival, showcasing emerging and established artists from both local and interstate communities. This year, the festival will take place from November 9 - 24.

 

WA

L’IDÉE WOMANs Perth x Pleats outlet sale is taking up to 80% off some of the brand's most coveted styles. The sale will take place at Times Square Shopping Centre in Claremont, from 9am - 3pm every Monday to Saturday, from now until December.

Crowded House will bring their Gravity Stairs Tour to Kings Park, from Friday 29 November to Sunday 1 December.

 

ACT

SpringOUT is Canberra’s only pride festival, and this year celebrates its 25th year. Catch all the action from November 1 until December 1.

The Craft + Design Canberra Festival returns for its 10th year, celebrating the work of over 500 artists, craftspeople, designers and architects from across the country. This year's program runs from 31 October until 30 November.

 

NT

The Darwin International Laska Festival will host its final event on November 3, with live performances, food trucks and the presentation of the ‘Golden Bowl’ and ‘People’s Choice’ Awards.

Abbie Chatfield will bring her 'Trauma Dump' tour to Darwin on November 23, with tickets starting from $79.90.
