From a speck-sized seed, waylaid by soil; watered and fed, and charmed by sunlight like a snake in a basket, the cycle of life is irrepressible under the guiding hand of Mother Nature. Sprouting new shoots, each blooming flower is a reminder of the perennial resilience of nature; of its ethereal beauty and cyclical nature.
Delicate and light, Van Cleef & Arpels' latest Frivole collection is a testament to the unique savoire-faire of nature. A collection enriched by five radiant new pieces – each a symbiosis of rose and white gold, punctuated with diamonds – each is a glistening talisman to reflect the countryside flora that has permeated the consciousness of the French luxury jewellery Maison since its inception over a century ago.
Asymmetrically designed, the collection's heart-shaped petals and mirror-polished gold are expertly crafted to maximise and intensify their reflective qualities – allowing the light to dance between the cut gems and the skin.
Intertwined in contemporary floral arrangements designed by Christelle Scifo of Fleurette, the collection's rings, timepieces, earrings and bracelets emerge from stalks and petals in a series of still life images photographed by Sam Armstrong for the pages of our March Life issue.
