If you had not yet received the memo - Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli is one who's always up for pulling off the unconventional. So far, under his directorship, we have already seen Valentino embark on many different ventures - from his text only campaigns, Valentino paintings to getting sex positive with boudoir - and now, introducing the second instalment of Valentino Insights with virtual tours complete with NFT's and digital rooms.
Here, we welcome and celebrate the Valentino Roman Palazzo Collection. The creative director embarking on this new endeavour to highlight the collection through the means of digital architecture and virtual design, presenting us with a highly mysterious virtual reality experience. Fascinated by new landscapes and giving new meaning to fashion presentations and advertising - Pierpaolo Piccioli explores new territories, making sure to take one step further in exploring digital art and digital realities, complete with exclusive NFT's.
Earlier this June, Valentino presented its first NFT digital exhibition in partnership with artist Matthew Stone. For this new instalment of Valentino Insights, we see the digital walls of Valentino's virtual rooms laden with artworks by American artist Sara Ludy. The artwork, titled Astral Garden, was made exclusively for Valentino and its new virtual world. Like in real life, the artworks are being auctioned off and sold on the blockchain Foundation website, continuing to praise that the body of work "interprets the new Valentino Roman Palazzo collection and reflects on the nature of hybridized material and form through a multidimensional scroll, is presented within a new visual language: a dedicated room that creates a hybrid world that bridges the gap between virtual and reality."
Valentino Insights is now available for further exploration on valentino.com with more news and updates available throughout all official Valentino social media channels. The new Valentino Roman Palazzo Collection is also available now through all Valentino boutiques and online on valentino.com.
