On Friday, July 8, 2022, Maison Valentino and Roma Capitale will present the Valentino Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-23 collection. The show will pay homage to the luxury House's roots, while bleeding into the contemporary, set within the locations of Piazza Mignanelli and Trinità dei Monti.
The city of Rome, with its beauties and infinite facets and layers, has remained a constant source of inspiration for Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli. A place that welcomes the coexistence of cultures in the name of luminous and progressive syncretism, the city represents freedom in all its forms.
“Roma is the place where everything starts, the life, the people, our stories, and identities are here. We belong to this place as much as this place belongs to the world and to Valentino," shares Piccioli.
With an ominous but exciting tagline that reads, 'Valentino The Beginning', we have no doubt that what's to come from the House will be one to remember.
You can tune in later this week to watch the Valentino Haute Couture Fall Winter 2022-23 live, through the livestream.
In the meantime, you can relive Couture week as it happens through our coverage of each show. From muted opulence at Dior courtesy of Maria Grazia Chiuri, gilded magnificence from Daniel Rosebery at Schiaparelli, and elevated 80s glamour at Alaïa, these are the collections that caught our eye so far.
