"I really wanted to push the idea of moving beyond the gender binary into a more fluid understanding of gender and self expression." Filmmaker Cloudy Rhodes's latest film for Levi's is a dreamlike celebration of inclusivity and freedom. Use Your Voice, a campaign film to accompany Levi's Pride collection, follows a group of young LGBTQIA+ Australians. "I wanted to make something that felt authentic and raw. Something that spoke to the new inclusive generation," explains Rhodes. "I really wanted to push the idea of moving beyond the gender binary into a more fluid understanding of gender and self expression, to give a feeling of youthful freedom. Levi’s pride campaign centres around the idea of using your voice I wanted to show young empowered queer kids in full self expression."

"Representation and inclusivity is the single thing that motivates me most in my filmmaking. It is so, so important to represent diversity on screen. For me, pride is about feeling free to be whatever you want to be that’s what I want for young people particularly young queer kids. I want them to be proud of who they are."
