In a collision of heritage and innovation, Tiffany & Co. unveils the newest chapter of the Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams collection, this time infused with the luminous beauty of freshwater pearls. Williams, ever the master of blending boldness with elegance, continues to draw inspiration from the mythical trident of Poseidon – a symbol of power and grace that resonates with his personal story. Raised in the coastal community of Atlantis, Virginia Beach, the rapper-turned-designer brings the ocean’s allure to life with this fearless new collection.
Known for his affinity with water, the new instalment in the collection channels the ancient mythology of the sea through these designs. In Japan, pearls were once believed to be the tears of water creatures – a legend that inspired and captivated Williams in the crafting of this collection, adding a deeper connection to the collection; and brings Tiffany’s commitment to blending symbolism with craftsmanship comes to the forefront in this collaboration. The freshwater pearls, with their high luster and over 11 mm size, stand out against diamonds and spike rondelles made of 18k gold – a motif that we saw in William's first collection with the jeweller.
From necklaces to bracelets, rings to earrings, each piece echoes Tiffany & Co.'s iconic design language, where pearls have long been a part of the House’s history. From Mary Todd Lincoln’s seed pearl suite to the Jean Schlumberger Bird on a Pearl collection, Tiffany has continually pushed the boundaries of jewellery design. Williams' interpretation is no different – ushering in a new era where heritage meets the future.
