We already know a couple of key details about the third season of The White Lotus – including the hotel destination. The latest season is due for release next year, and is slated to be set in Thailand at yet another of The Four Seasons' spectacular resorts. But, what we've been eagerly waiting to hear more about is who exactly will be making the intercontinental trip to star in the series. It turns out one of the major appearances will be from Thai K-Pop star, Lisa from BLACKPINK.
Lisa's appearance in The White Lotus season 3 marks her acting debut. Never one to do things in halves, Lisa will return to her homeland to star in one of pop-culture's most beloved TV shows, following in the footsteps of her band members Jennie and Jisoo, the former starring in HBO's The Idol, the latter in K-drama Snowdrop.
The initial cast list for the third season was released only a week ago, with a host of cast members that are heading to the show for season 3, but we've just had a second hit – five more cast members have been announced as of today. So below, check out the full list of names we know so far.
Who else is in the cast?
HBO continues to expand its cast. Lisa will join names like Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Sex Education star Aimee Lou Wood.
There was also an earlier announcement which confirmed Parker Posey (our 90s indie film queen), Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, and Thai actors Dom Hetrakul and Tayme Thapthimthong as further cast members of The White Lotus Season 3.
As is customary, the lineup features at least one returning cast member – this time, season one’s resort worker Belinda (played by Natasha Rothwell).
What else do we know so far about Season 3?
You can peruse our The White Lotus Season 3 updates for all the juicy details about season three's plot, cast and release dates – including those rumours of a Tanya McQuoid prequel series from last year's Sydney Vivid conversation between Jennifer Coolidge and Mike White.
When will Season 3 be released?
Prior to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, The White Lotus Season 3 was gearing up for a release later this year. However, HBO and Max CEO Casey Bloys have confirmed that the delays have set them back, so the show is now expected to be released in 2025.
