It seems like it was only yesterday we were in Paris closing out Spring Summer 2022 for Fashion Week and already, our hearts have moved onto something brand new. And with that, it should come as no surprise, that that new heart throb just happens to be the new Pre-Fall 2022 collection by The Row.
As most of us find ourselves in phases of deep reflection that the later half of a year usually brings, it seems that things are looking a little back to front for designers Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, as depicted throughout its new seasons presentation.
Jackets worn backwards, garments worn inside out - billowing soft volumes in colour then bodies draped in sheets of black; it seems the Olsen sisters and The Row have also entered a topsy-turvy backwards world.
Soft hues of palatable colour made a highlight this season - a gentle but surprising baby step away from the House's signature monochromatic colour codes. We embraced The Row's colour acquisitions in soft aqua, lilac, reds and baby blues - sunken, crimped and cellophaned all throughout its Pre-Fall 2022.
The season still felt effortlessly relaxed and chic, making sure to still embed what we have come to know as The Row's most famous signature design codes. For Pre-Fall 2022, the house went as far to shoot the collection back to front - profiling the back of the looks just as important as the front (and for this season, if not more), adding a childlike sense of humour to the overall debut.
The full Pre-Fall 2022 ready-to-wear collection is available now to explore on therow.com, with more news and updates available throughout The Row's social media channels.
