Our May Tempo issue is an ode to the sounds and songs that define us, creating the space to consider music not only as a melody, but as a universal language; a conduit for connection, emotion, healing and memory. Our cover star, South Sudan-born, London-based model Adit Priscilla, dons Chanel's Métiers d'Art 22/23 collection for this issue's cover story, a Maison with a long history steeped in music (Coco Chanel herself was once an aspiring singer).
Lensed by Sam Wilson and styled by Hannah Cooper, we follow Priscilla as she moves and grooves to her own beat on the streets of London.
