Quickly becoming a world-renowned and household name, but probably best  known for the iconic tote, New York native Telfar Clemens has unveiled a new venture. They will join their ever expanding list of collaborators for its synonymous brand, Telfar.

This time, the Liberian-American designer brand hustles into the realm of sportswear in launch of its newest partnership with sneaker brand Converse. The collaboration is one that is all encompassing, featuring both activewear, accessories and footwear with news of its exclusive release set for July 6.

Following on from the highly anticipated success of Telfar x Converse's capsule collection teased out last December, the partnership is strengthened and continued as a press release states, “for Converse and Telfar, sport is for everyone.”

The new release will see designer Telfar Clemens and Converse's first new leather court shoe, following on with a collaboration co-branded duffel gym bag that will release a few days prior to the launch. The Converse brands basketball staples are reimagined with designer Telfar Clemens given full reign, with the new shoe cleverly encompassing details of both a ballet pointe and a flat soled white sneaker.

Apart from the designers viral branded shopping tote, Telfar is known for its unique and eclectic take on collaborations. Following on from its partnership with US fast food chain White Castle and shearling footwear brand UGG, the partnership with Converse will have the brand further expand into sportswear and global.
