Straight to the heart of the Nevada Desert, this is a city best enjoyed in the dark of the night, by the light of the strip, and when evening descends I’ll be putting it all on black 10. The Golden Nugget is where I’ll be letting go of my money and Odd Fellows is where I’ll be losing my inhibitions on the dance floor. Atomic Liquor for the experience, Herbs & Rye for a cocktail and we couldn’t leave without a photo in front of the Bellagio’s fountain.

Located in the downtown precinct, El Cortez Hotel & Casino is every bit the vintage Las Vegas we’re here to embrace. Small in scale compared to the strip’s newer hotels, but with a history dating back to 1940 we’ve come to add to the memories.

This is no place to dress down. Embrace the festive season and pack your heels (make them high) and your favourite dress (make it short). A party bag to swing from your shoulder, a scent that lingers, and Tom Ford certainly knows makeup that screams nightlong glamour.

You can’t go past a classic. Rao’s for the steak and infamous red sauce, eat or Honey Salt for those early morning promises to be healthy and Other Mama for something exciting.
