It's been a good year for SZA content, so at least that's going well for us! Following the release of the singers soul-soothing single Good Days on Christmas Day (best Christmas present ever), SZA has finally dropped a music video for the track, and it's as trippy and heavenly as we could expect from her.
Self-directed by the singer herself, the visuals open with a sleepy SZA on the floor of a bedroom on what can only be interpreted as a mushroom trip. The trip takes the singer into a mossy, mushroomy grove where she twists and rolls her body to the blissful song. The forest-fairy vibe is intercepted with shots of her in a towering library, where she reads old books while spinning on a pole in a bedazzled bikini - coincidentally the exact vibe I've been meaning to replicate for my entire life.

Similarly to her last music video for Hit Different featuring Ty Dolla $ign, which ended with a teaser for Good Days, the music video ends with a minute-long teaser for a new song tentatively titled Shirt, which SZA teased via TikTok earlier this year. The clip sees her in a moodily-lit gas station twirling on a pole. WWYD if you pulled up to refill your tank and SZA was there throwing down? More importantly, is this how we'll find out about all future music? Very much here for the recurring theme.

As we continue to wait patiently for the follow-up to SZA’s 2017 album, Ctrl - which has apparently been in production for some time now with reports she's been hitting the studio with Post Malone, Jack Antonoff, and Brockhampton - you can watch the full Good Days video below. Just make sure to prepare yourself spiritually, first.
