The rumours circulating for weeks have come to fruition: A Supreme x Burberry collaboration is coming, with A$AP Nast signalling that the two brands are releasing a collection for Spring/Summer 2022. Swathed in the blush-toned matching denim set in the iconic Nova Check print, the news comes less than a week before Burberry’s Autumn/Winter 2022 collection is set to debut.
A shared branded brown leather patch features on the back of the jeans and jacket, alongside a large embroider of the Burberry and Supreme logos in the centre of the jacket’s back. Based on the somewhat cryptic post, the collection is likely to feature a range of outerwear, denim styles and accessories.

Who have Supreme collaborated with previously?
Supreme is no stranger to a high fashion collaboration, most notably having worked with Louis Vuitton in 2017. In what is now regarded as a pioneering moment in contemporary fashion, the creative partnership was one of the first to embrace a culture of collaboration now permeating brands, from Gucci and Adidas to Balenciaga. In the past year alone, Supreme has partnered with Tiffany & Co., Duraflame and Shrek while also taking over New York subway trains in pillarbox lettering, a detour into public art installations.
While the Supreme x Burberry collaboration’s conceptualisation phase had wrapped prior to new Supreme creative director Emory entering at the brand, his hallmarks of using fashion ‘link-ups’ as a platform for education are figuratively embedded through the fabric of the range. His previous work has focussed on relaying stories of the Windrush generation and his family’s experience in Harlem, Georgia.
When will the Supreme x Burberry collection be available to shop?
The details of the partnership – like a release date and how to purchase – remain scant for now, however more details may become available at the Burberry show in the next week. Will we see another cross-pollinated collection walk the runway? We wait with bated breath.
