The Australian summer season is always a bit of a fashion mystery. Since we're a season behind our Northern Hemisphere counterparts, it's hard to know what trends are going to stick. Add in that Australian fashion is notoriously distinct and unique from the rest of the world, it's a recipe for surprise.
But looking to Depop, we can see a little peek into what's going to be big this summer. Depop's in-house curation team has given RUSSH a look at the top fashion trends and trending searches we're currently seeing on the resale app. Without further ado, here are the trends you'll be wearing this summer according to Depop.
1. Slip dresses
The slip dress trend is still as popular as ever it seems. Since making its debut on the main stage on Kate Moss’s at Calvin Klein in the 90s, the simple slip dress has evolved from a basic undergarment to an elevated, enviable, versatile and perennially stylish choice for evening wear.
2. Corsets
Corsets are again having a moment, creeping into our lives and feeds, emerging as one of the most popular trends of the summer according to Depop. We wholeheartedly approve.
