Fifty-five floors above the ground in Melbourne's iconic Rialto building, chef Shannon Bennett and Stella Artois unveiled a taste of their collaborative menu for the forthcoming 2019 Stella Artois Caulfield Cup. After working closely on a selection of carefully curated dishes to present to guests at this year's carnival, Bennett and his team at restaurant Vue de monde served a taste of what's to come, accompanied by Stella Artois's signature brew.
Inspired by the flavours of the European beer, the degustation included quail eggs, uni tart, truffle donuts, marron in a saffron sauce and crab meat 'hot dogs', capped off with a dessert bar and custom lamington miniature store.
