We’re calling it: Bad Sisters is a work of art. Equal parts gripping and funny, this Irish series has had our hearts since it first hit screens in 2022. And as anyone who was a fan of the first season will attest to, it’s been a long wait for season two to come around. But the time has finally come, and we’re busy getting reacquainted with the Garvey sisters – and no, things aren’t any less chaotic this time around.
As always, Apple TV+ has elected to drop new episodes weekly (with the exception of the first two episodes, which were released in tandem on November 13). And while this means we’ll have something to look forward to every Wednesday, it also means that we’ll need something to fill the time for the other six days of the week. And that’s where we come in. Below, we’re rounding up five series like Bad Sisters that are worth watching next.
Sweetpea
We'll admit, Sweetpea is a little more gruesome than Bad Sisters, but if murderous women is your thing, look no further. Without giving too much away, the series follows Rhiannon (Ella Purnell), a young woman who goes through life feeling entirely unnoticed. But all that changes when, one day, she's pushed to her limit.
Sweetpea is now streaming on Binge.
Big Little Lies
From close female friendships (bonded by a mysterious death), to abusive husbands, Big Little Lies and Bad Sisters have more than a few commonalities. Based on Liane Moriarty's novel of the same name, all the action of Big Little Lies takes place in the picturesque Monterey County. But as we get a closer look, it's clear not everything is as perfect as it seems in the quaint beachside community.

The Undoing
Like Bad Sisters, this is a whodunit series – but the characters at the centre of it all are far less likeable than the Garvey Sisters. Starring Hugh Grant and Nicole Kidman, this charts the story of an ultra-wealthy New York therapist, whose life unravels when she and her family become implicated in a murder case.

The Perfect Couple
We promise, The Perfect Couple has more in common with Bad Sisters than simply sharing a lead actress in Eve Hewson. Here, Hewson plays Amelia, a young woman preparing to marry into the incredibly wealthy Winbury family. But an untimely death throws their happy nuptials into disarray, and the characters must look to each other to work out exactly who was responsible.
The Perfect Couple is now streaming on Netflix.
Dead To Me
Dead To Me has dark humour in spades. It stars Christina Applegate as Jen, a recently widowed woman who joins a grief support group where she meets Judy, played by Linda Cardellini. The two spark up a quick friendship, but as things progress, we learn Judy is keeping her own secrets that threaten to unravel everything.
Dead To Me is now streaming on Netflix.
