But since you're at Shell House, why not settle in for both a good time and a long time? This means booking a table at its Dining Room, where the menu is a roll call of the freshest produce of the season.
The kitchen is equipped with a parrilla, ensuring everything from beetroot to aged pork is burnished and tender. There's cacio e pepe risotto and Murray cod and cruller topped with white anchovy and whipped fish roe. And when you can no longer button your pants, simply catch the lift to the clocktower for a nightcap or take the trip right to the top and end your night on your feet, swaying well into the AM.
