HOW DO YOU BELONG?
While there are no major movements happening directly in your sign this year, Scorpio, there’s a lot of action happening in the sky and all of it is in relationship to your Sun sign. This naturally psychological and deeply instinctive talisman of yours (Pluto) is now slowly churning through this incredibly fast, cerebral sign.
Aquarius is the fastest of the air signs, bringing with it a huge, topographical point of view. From this angle, it’s incredibly clear and obvious as to what our own patterns and life-directions are, in a way that you just can’t comprehend when you are on the ground and viscerally in the experience of daily living. There’s a great capacity now for a deeper understanding of self in a way that isn’t intensely emotional or heavy, as Aquarius operates more like lightning flashes of insight. There’s an objectivity available that is liberating medicine, especially for a sign that feels life at maximum capacity, like yours.
\With Pluto in this realm of social and communal belonging, there’s the opportunity to inspect one of your re-occurring evolutionary themes as a Scorpio; your relationship to intimacy. As a Scorpio there is this strong dual desire to both have intimacy – to know someone deeply and truthfully – while at the same time, there is a self-protection mechanism here, often subconscious, to remain safe and un-harmed and as such, unknown. Your Scorpion stinger is often on guard, even when you are wanting to have shared experiences and to build closeness with others. Is this the case for you? Now there’s the chance to look at how you bond with people (or don’t) in your communities. Are you open or are you on guard? Who do you want to build community with?
The eclipses this year will take place across the axis of Pisces and Virgo and are in supportive relationships to your own sign. One of the themes is like a natural detox and streamlining in how you actualise things into your world while connecting you more deeply to the waves of inspiration and the creative realms of your own visions and dreams. If you are in analysis paralysis or so fixed on self-growth that you find it difficult to accept who you are right now, you will find this nodal transit (all year) to be a healing experience.
From June onwards, Jupiter, our meaning-maker, will move into Cancer, a fellow water sign.
