Saint Laurent's Rive Droite lifestyle collections are always a fun escape from reality. Who needs a set of dumbell weights from the sports store when you could have a brushed brass pair from Saint Laurent? Upon each release, it feels more and more as though we could justify a crystal embellished set of dice if our hearts were inclined. For this seasons release, though, Saint Laurent has teamed up with furniture design company Hervet Manufacturier for its latest Rive Droite drop, which offers surfboards, alongside coffee tables shaped like surfboards.

A birch plywood coffee table arrives in the shape of a surfboard, donning animal prints applied to the wood. For the freestanding decorative surfboards, they are crafted using a variety of woods like Palisander to Paldaon, each design is clad with the Saint Laurent logo on the top and bottom of the items.

The new release comes after Anthony Vaccarello‘s previous surf-inspired collections including surfboards, electric bikes, swimwear and more. For this particular Rive Droite Drop, classic items remain such as skateboard decks, brushed brass stationary, and bikini's, with new additions of sleeveless printed hoodies, printed towels with new imagery, and wooden coasters.
For previous Rive Droite collections, Saint Laurent introduced a limited edition ceramics collectionc in collaboration with ceramicist Mathilde Martin - who is known for her earthy, imperfect, hand built vases, which were offered in cobalt blue, mustard yellow and flamingo pink. Alongside Martin's pieces, were plates and vases offered by Emaux De Longwy sporting mosaic and panther motifs.
