If you have had the opportunity to stroll through the white-washed, cobblestone outdoor shopping village that is Nammos; you know well that space is the heart of luxury shopping on Greece's iconic island, Mykonos. It only makes sense then, that French luxury fashion house, Saint Laurent set up shop on the island, opening its new Mykonos store in Nammos.

Saint Laurent's Mykonos store marks one of two recently-unveiled island-based openings; the second of which has found a home on Spain's Ibiza. While the exterior of the Nammos store might resemble the surrounding luxury offerings; it's what's on the inside that truly counts.

The store's floors and walls are crafted out of grey and white gypsum, which is a waterproof plaster surface – perpetuating the raw and borderline 'modern bohemian' aesthetic so prevalent to the island. Elsewhere in the space, walls are expertly adorned with nickel-plated brass structures with clear glass; contrasted with exotic frayed wood detailing and wall coverings.

Arguably, the standout feature of the newly opened Saint Laurent Mykonos store is the extraordinary terrace space; fitted with white and black marble tables and a matching seating area under a pergola.

Although you could comfortably spend half a day moving from store to store, or simply lounging under the peaceful pergola; Nammos has garnered a name for more than its shopping. The crystal-clear beach is situated outside of Mykonos' main town and is home to one of the island's most coveted and iconic restaurants and beach clubs.
