What is your morning beauty routine?
When I first open my eyes I meditate for twenty minutes before checking my phone. I then wash my face and put on sunscreen and Minenssey Rejuvenating Nutritious Face & Neck Cream. I always make myself a yummy morning tonic with adaptogens and collagen too.
What is your night beauty routine?
I usually wash my face in the shower using the Minensey Hydrating Soufflé Cleanser to take off any impurities from the day. I then use Minenssey Hydrating Dynamic Facial Essence Toner to rebalance and finish with the Flannel Flower Absolute to give myself a little facial massage, followed by some Minenssey Hydrating Complete eye cream and my Minenssey Hydrating Quenching Aqua Cream moisturizer. I find in the morning my skin is looking quite plump from all the moisture in these products and I find layering them really helps with this too.
Describe what you do for a living? What does a typical day look like for you?
I’m a television host. I was hosting Extra TV in the US for the last ten years so my days were pretty hectic and I was racing around from events and interviews and the studio. Now I am back in Australia and for now it is a little change of pace so I'm taking a much needed moment for self-care, which I’m really loving.
What is the supermarket/ drug store/ chemist beauty product(s) that you use and love?
Lucas Paw Paw ointment for any dry skin. I love L’Oréal telescopic mascara - it’s the best mascara I’ve found. Especially the waterproof one because I’m always swimming in the ocean.
What is your main form of beauty body maintenance? What products do you use on your body?
I try to get lymphatic drainage massages as often as possible and I also like to use coconut oil on my body. I also like to use the Bangin’ Body Scrub when I’m in the shower as I find this firming for my skin.
How do you keep fit/ healthy? Does exercise form a large part of your routine?
I lead a very active lifestyle and like to work out every day in some way. I particularly love yoga, dance and pilates. I love to also take a long walk every day, I love to be out in nature or on the beach. Sometimes I like to mix it up and do things that feel fun and not like a chore. I usually only do one intense training session a week, with weights and resistance.
What cosmetic procedures/ professional treatments do you have as part of your beauty routine?
I love using light/ led therapy on my face. I particularly love Omni lux treatments but if I’m after something a little more performance driven I will look to a laser facial at All Saints clinic in Sydney.
What do you do when your body needs to recover?
An infrared sauna does wonders and have been pairing that recently with ice baths. I find the combination really healing. I also take a warm bath most evenings in magnesium and try to get regular massages.
You’re tired or rundown: what is your beauty hack?
Infrared sauna or a cold shower! It has saved me so many times. But In terms of a beauty / quick hack. Bronzer and a good creamy blush, I love Charlotte Tilbury. A little colour on the cheeks and highlight/ illuminiser goes a long way.
What is the one non-negotiable in your beauty routine?
SPF! I have a beautiful tinted moisturiser I love to wear and will never leave home without sunscreen.
Do you have a beauty icon? Who are they and why?
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for sure. I’m always using pictures of her to reference for hair and makeup. She’s flawless and effortless but also adventurous with her style and has the most incredible glam team.
What is the best advice on beauty you’ve received?
As cliche as it is, that beauty comes from within. Work on yourself and be truly happy, it will shine on out. The happier you are, the better you feel and look. Also, drink at least 2\two litres of water a day and wear sunscreen.
