Rége-Jean Page won't let up! Since leaving the Bridgerton universe, this man has become attached to more projects than we can manage to keep up with. Not sure how he's managing it all, but he clearly thrives under pressure. From being announced as the latest Longines ambassador, then came the Calm app; and not to mention the growing number of film and television series on his plate. His latest venture is once again on screen, and with Netflix; with news dropping that Rége-Jean Page is starring in an upcoming heist movie.
Look, we'll be honest, we know very little about this film – at this point, it doesn't even have a name. But the thought of Page as a hunky, (definitely charming), thief has us in all sorts. And we're not ashamed to admit it. The new film has been described as a thriller, and see's the Russo brothers and Emmy-winning storyteller Noah Hawley at the helm. From what we know so far, the storyline for the new heist film is based on an original idea from Hawley; which based on his track record with reimagining Fargo and Legion, is sure to be a worthy watch.
One thing that has become abundantly clear during our short time of knowing Page is that the man is versatile. Part of his list of upcoming projects sees the actor set top star in Paramount’s major Dungeons and Dragons adaptation; the film reboot of The Saint, and of course, Netflix’s The Gray Man; where he first worked with directors Anthony and Joe Russo.
Speaking during a recent interview spotlighting Page, Anthony shared; “[Joe and I] like actors who are willing to continually reinvent themselves, and push themselves into new places."
“With Regé, we knew him as one specific thing over a short period of time, but he’s an incredibly talented actor, and he can move in a lot of different directions as a performer.”
Stay tuned for more details on Rége-Jean Page and this mysterious heist movie to come.
