“I dream of light shining through the void. There is still so much work to do. It begins with these thoughts, with the places and people that trigger them. Right now this whole world matters, even if in the end it all adds up to nothing.” - Jordan Sullivan, November 12, 2016, Los Angeles, CA
For Jordan Sullivan, art is a form of “self medication”. And that light shining through darkness is what spurs him forward, on a map forged by landscape, relationships and unseen forces. The L.A.-based artist and RUSSH favourite has channelled these inspirations into new exhibition The Divine Nothing, a collection of photographs, paintings and sound collages on display at L.A.’s MAMA gallery. From December 10, get lost in love and loss, colour and time.
