To celebrate the launch of our online RUSSH Book Club platform, we hosted our final event in partnership with Converse at Sydney's Jardan furniture store in Paddington. Over Bird in Hand rosé, Remedy Coconut Water Kefir and cheese and crudités by Dan the Man, we talked all things literature - lead by our co-host (writer-model-activist) Ollie Henderson.

Surrounded by old friends and new, all with a mutual love of reading and exploring the stories of women, Henderson had us discussing the literature that has helped shape her personal narrative including her favourites: The Bell Jar, That's Revolting!: Queer Strategies for Resisting Assimilation, Tank Girl and Bloodchild. Guests each received their own pair of customisable white Converse high tops, part of the brand’s All The Stories Are True campaign, as well as a voucher to spend with Kinokuynia Australia.
