Are you ready to see the Prada Spring/Summer21 show live?
From 10pm AEST September 24 - tonight - you'll have your very own front row seat to one of the most hyped and anticipated shows of the season.
It was headline news when Raf Simons joined Prada as co-creative director back in February of 2020. It was on the final day of Milan Fashion Week, and Miuccia Prada called a press conference to make the formal announcement. The AW showcase would be her last solo show, from that moment Simons would join the creative team at Prada and help the House to carve out new path.
Tonight's show since that historic change. This is the first collection created by both iconic designers in collaboration. It's not an understatement to say that this is certainly one of the highlight from this Milan Fashion Week.
Tune in here at 10pm to watch the history-making Prada Spring/Summer21 show live.
When the Prada Group announced the new addition of Simons into their creative team, the company was clear , both Ms Prada and Simons would have “equal responsibilities for creative input and decision-making.”
Diehard Prada fans need not worry, this new collection will still come with the quintessential discreetly elegant and slightly eccentric aesthetic that we absolutely adore from this House.
Immediately following the show, both Ms Prada and Simons will be running an information session. The pair are inviting questions from the public about their first collaborative collection and will answer for us all to see.
The unprecedented reality we're living in has given birth to a new way forward in fashion. Never before has access to events and key fashion moments been more equitable. With in-person audiences removed from many key shows around the world, many Houses like Prada are turning to live streams to showcase their work. It's given broad access and invited everyone to be a part of the fashion conversation.
We're excited to see what is next from the industry, as we start to see a further insight into the future of fashion in our new world.
