It's no secret that there's big money to be made in the beauty game, and we've seen a slew of celebrities and luxury fashion House's branch out into the beauty industry with their own lines in the last couple of years. Some have done it with much success (looking at you, Rare Beauty), and others, well, with less gusto.
Given this trend, it's little surprise that Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada have decided to announced the expansion of their eponymous beauty line, Prada Beauty, beyond just fragrances and into the worlds of makeup and skincare.
Taking to Instagram for the announcement, the luxury Italian fashion House posted a suite of images and videos to announce 'Rethinking Beauty', the brand's first holistic beauty collection.

Prada said the expansion into the beauty world was in pursuit of "reimagining existing definitions and expectations with an avant-garde vision of beauty activated by tech and creativity". The duo also announced makeup artist Lynsey Alexander as their Global Creative Makeup Artist at Prada and Prada Beauty. The announcement made mention that Alexander was "instrumental in the development of the new Prada makeup range".
What will be in the collection?
Now for the most important question. It appears the unisex collection will comprise of 26 'Monochrome' lipsticks in hyper matte and soft matte textures, six Prada print-inspired 'Dimensions' eyeshadow quads, 33 AI-driven shades of 'Reveal' foundation, three 'Augmented Skin' complexion products, 10 brushes and tools, and a lip balm for good measure.
