When Australian trio Haiku Hands (comprised of sisters Mie and Claire Nakazawa and Beatrice Lewis) embarked on a 15-show headline tour of Europe throughout October and November, they decided to bring photographer and videographer Mitch Noakes along for the ride. From the unearthly beauty of Reykjavik’s blue lagoon to driving the Golden Circle route looping into the southern uplands of the country and back, Noakes captured the vastness of these Viking cities as well as the oft-unseen isolation of tour life.
Haiku Hands' upcoming Australian tour dates can be found here, and include January 31 at Brisbane's The Foundry, February 1 at Oxford Art Factory, February 16 at Melbourne's The Howler and March 2 at Perth's Jack Rabbit Slim's.
