Phoebe Philo's long-awaited and highly anticipated return to the fashion game is rumoured to include a reunion with her long-time Celine collaborator, Canadian-Ukrainian model Daria Werbowy. Werbowy was the face of several campaigns and collections during Philo's tenure at Celine, a muse for the designer, as well as a close friend.
It's no surprise then, that rumours are circulating online that Werbowy is likely to exit retirement in order to be the face of Philo's new brand, considering they have such a lauded and iconic history behind them.

Why did Daria Werbowy leave modelling?
Werowy's departure from modelling in 2009 was a bit of a shock, given her wide-spread success for more than a decade in the industry, but boiled down to the fact that she 'physically and mentally couldn't handle it anymore'. Werbowy told The Telegraph at the time that, "It's like, you have everything you want, what you dreamt of is coming true, you can't buy anything else to make you happy, so then you think, Well, what else is there? And you have to leave."
Werbowy was only 30 at the time, but had been in the industry since the tender age of 14.
