PET is a salute to the ladies, “the kind of badass women able to speak their mind and show their perspective equally” say Cara Stricker and Madeline O’Moore, co-founders of the project that aims to “redefine femininity”. Female artists across a range of creative mediums, from film to music to visual arts, will come together in collaboration with freshly launched New York creative space National Sawdust, to inaugurate the first of a six series showcase featuring live performances and an interactive virtual reality experience. The collective includes emerging and established artists from around the globe who each bring a unique voice and artistic perspective to their chosen arena. These are women with something to say, and this is the space to say it. The launch of PET and online platform release of PET.COOL will take place on August 11 at 9pm, at National Sawdust in Williamsburg, New York.
