Paspaley understands there's nothing quite like a string of pearls. And there's nothing like a Paspaley pearl, sourced straight from the Australian south sea, twinkling on a clavicle or on the lobes of... potentially you?
Joining its iconic flagship in the heart of Martin Place, a new Paspaley boutique has opened on Queen Street, Brisbane. It forms a second part of an ongoing collaboration with French architecture firm Carbondale. The newly opened Brisbane store is the next great tribute to the sea and the innovative spirit of the Paspaley brand.
How does the brand continue to push for innovation? Group Executive Director, James Paspaley has his sights firmly trained on the glittering road ahead: "Paspaley's extraordinary heritage has laid the foundations for a phenomenal future. That future has always been shaped by an innovative spirit. Our new boutique in Brisbane continues that journey. It is representative of this innovation and an evolving vision for the brand... We are excited to unveil innovative and beautiful boutiques to Paspaley clients, where they will be surrounded by the same level of quality and craftsmanship in how they appreciate in the jewellery itself."
The inherent quality of Paspaley pearls starts with an Australian prong. The late Nick Paspaley was on a quest to dive for the world's most valued assortment. He scouted for mother-of-pearl and whole natural pearls off the Australian North Coast. Before he passed, he cultivated his cultured pearls to the same quality of the natural ones of Paspaley's origins. Touché.
Now onto the building of question. The entire exterior evokes the beauty of the natural pearl. Backlit curved carvings across the tw0 levels summon the likeness of strands of pearls. Two LED virtual windows project calming ocean scapes as an ephemeral reminder of Paspaley's roots.
At the very core, Paspaley embodies adventure, inspiration and innovation. The pearl-led design of the newest flagship is a testament to this ethos. Consider us enchanted.
