You're invited.
From 6pm to 7pm on Friday May 22, Nike and New Zealand choreographer Parris Goebel wants you to join a live dance workshop with ReQuest Dance Crew.
An all-female hip-hop dance crew, ReQuest has worked with the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna - so they have the moves you'll want to learn. It's the perfect high-energy calorie burn, a fun workout you'll actually want to do. And don't worry, the crew has promised it will fit for all experience levels.
Parris is the mind behind the groundbreaking choreography for Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” music video and creator of the ReQuest crew. But she's more than a choreographer, she's a dancer, singer, director and actress - and may we say, a style icon. More than a few members of our RUSSH team developed a quiet obsession with her cool-girl vibe after her campaign for MAC Australia.
Parris has choreographed the easy-to-follow workshop exclusively for Nike. So you won't see this routine anywhere else. It's in one of ReQuest’s signature styles – Dancehall, a powerful form of dance anchored in Jamaican music, with nods to female empowerment and self-expression.

The IG LIVE class will be led by ReQuest members Corbyn Taulealea Huch, Ling Zhang and Kirsten Dogden, all featured in the video.
Speaking about the Nike dance workshop, Corbyn said: “It has been super inspiring to see how people have continued to keep active and positive while at home over these past months. Like us, Nike are encouraging people to keep moving, and so we are very excited to be collaborating on this together.
"We will be hitting all the beats in the music and tapping into the lyrics, while having lots of fun. This class is not about getting every step right, it’s about taking that time to let go, move and enjoy yourself. Tune in this Friday to our Instagram to join us.”
The class will be hosted on the ReQuest Instagram account, make sure you tune in at 6pm AEST to catch ReQuest live.
