Paris Fashion Week is officially underway, and the street style is predictably stellar. Showgoers have turned up in fashionable droves for the final stop on what’s been a mammoth month in fashion, with PFW set to take place from Monday 23 September until Tuesday 1 October. If you're anything like us, your mind is still be reeling from New York, London and Milan, and all the goodness they had to offer – on and off the runway. But if you were in any danger of fatiguing before we officially reach the finish line on yet another fashion month, you need only look to the bustling streets of Paris to feel revitalised.
Often imitated, never quite replicated, the French street style set have earned a reputation as some of the savviest in the game—and for good reason. Of course, we’d be pulling out all the sartorial stops, too, if we’d scored an invitation to the likes of Christian Dior, Saint Laurent, Courreges, The Row, and Loewe (to name just a few), who are all set to showcase their Spring Summer 25 collections during the week.
There's just a few days left of the jam-packed schedule and, so far, showgoers have delivered a masterclass in the je ne sais quoi of French fashion. And while the sun refused to shine for many of the scheduled runways, the style set didn’t let that dampen their sartorial spirits. Hats of every variety, floor-grazing coats, stockings, killer boots, plenty of layers, and chic umbrellas were among the most popular choices to shield from the city’s dreary weather forecast.
While we wait patiently for more designers to unveil the trends we'll be wearing come next Summer, we'll be looking to the streets of Paris for the pieces worth coveting now—and exactly how to style them. Below, see the best street style from Paris Fashion Week as it happens.
