It's a big day for film buffs: the 2025 Oscars nominations have officially been announced. Arguably the most anticipated list to arrive this award's season, the Academy has made its selections, and the race for gold is officially on.

Much like the Golden Globes, Emilia Pérez is leading the pack, with 13 nominations across the board. Following closely behind are The Brutalist and Wicked, which both received 10 nods each.
