Under the palm beach sun we see sustainability in a different light. Vintage pearls and rich silks dance again in new formation. As the seasons change, so too do our wardrobe attitudes, as we go back to basics to the rediscover classics. To celebrate the launch of her new sustainable fashion platform The Robe, Katie Fowler shares with us moments of summer restoration. A new fashion sits on the horizon.
After organizing the wardrobes of some of Australia’s most fashion-forward residents, Katie knew there was ground to be made. And so, she created The Robe, with a vision of fashion that was sustainable, yet aspirational. Pre-loved garments from local wardrobes enter the online boutique and new existence, to promote a culture of redistribution over waste. Not to forget, looking effortless while doing so, if the campaign stills are anything to go off.
The Nanushka bodysuit. The brand is a leader in sustainable fashion, we're so happy to feature some of their pieces on The Robe.
It was really important for the campaign to be shot amongst nature using as little equipment as possible. We wanted to show how the pre-loved clothes can be renewed in the most accessible way.
Our first Drop was shot in front of the beautiful houses on Iluka Road in Palm Beach. Showcasing the stunning clothes paired with the just as stunning surroundings.
Accessories featuring designer eyewear, jewellery, and hats will be online in Drop Two which is coming so soon.
