This just in. Off-White's Virgil Abloh has dropped a new activewear collection titled, "OFF ACTIVE"
In true Off-White form, it plays with the boundaries between streetwear, fashion, and leisurewear, with its offering of sports bras, cycling shorts, and leggings. It's the type of collection made for living in, as well as for working out.
So, what's different here? Off White of course has many pieces that fall into the athleisure category. But this particular line has been designed for performance; pieces that are made to wear while you get run, jump and lift - yes, really.

“OFF ACTIVE” offers both womenswear and menswear, constructed in technical fabrics with utility in mind for premium form and function. Abloh's creation of leggings, sports bras, t-shirts, and technical bike shorts come in a black-and-white brushstroke pattern, hot pink, and black. Accompanying the collection is an offering of sports-focused duffel and drawstring bags for your gym-gear needs, all items, garments and accessories are embellished with the Off-White logo in varying iterations.
The menswear offering spans active t-shirts, leggings, hoodies and running shorts, in varying colours between grey, black and cobalt blue - an interesting commentary on gender binary with such a classic colour choice and distinction between menswear and womenswear, which is usually a seemingly fluid concept for Abloh.

The collection campaign was lensed by Aidan Zamiri and produced by Dazed, dancers Calm Zulu and Jakub Franasowicz are seen in a futuristic video rhythmically moving, jumping, running and cartwheeling against an ever changing background, likely symbolising the versatility of the new collection and its ability to adapt to different scenarios.

Most fortunately for us, this collection is already up and ready for purchase. If you're looking for OFF ACTIVE, you'll find in it naturally on the Off White website. But you'll also find it on Farfetch and SSENSE too.
We have a feeling this collection will go cult. What do you think?
