November, wow. I'm quite sure how we got here. Despite the speed at which this year went by, I do always welcome the summers months. The days are long, my inbox quietens and we all take a well-deserved break with loved ones. My beauty favourites this month speak to rituals, but also gifting (tis the season after all — and if you're still in shopping mode, be sure to check out our gift guides). Bottega scents, Chloé hand cream, pine candles... you'll find the very best in November beauty right here.
Bottega Veneta Déjà Minuit Eau de Parfum
Bottega scents have finally landed in Australia, in line with the new Sydney flagship. My pick is Déjà Minuit, a smoky, spicy warm mix of cardamom, patchouli, vetiver and jasmine.
YSL Beauty Libre Flowers and Flames
And if you prefer more of a sexy floral, be sure to try YSL Beauty's new Libre Flowers and Flames. It has all the impact of the original Libre, but with desert lily and creamy coco. It's decadent, feminine and warm.
Kiehl's Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Mask
Party season can really impact our skin. Long lunches, late nights... I find one of the easiest ways to smooth rough texture and decongest is with a clay-based mask, and this Kiehl's formula is a current favourite. It's creamy and softening, but still draws out excess sebum for brighter, clearer skin.
Tatcha The Kissu Lip Mask Kiku
A peach-scented version of Tatcha's famous lip mask? Say less.
Chloé Atelier des Fleurs Magnolia Scented Hand Cream
Chloe has refreshed its scent offering this year, including these beautiful perfumed hand creams that pay tribute to Gaby Aghion. Each represents a singular flower, and unsurprisingly my pick is magnolia. It's soft and milky, while the formula itself is hydrating but quickly absorbed.
Diptyque Sapin Candle
This is definitely the best smelling Christmas candle I've come across. It smells like an evergreen, but with notes of sweet, spicy resin for a festive feeling that's authentic (no notes of pudding, gingerbread or clove — I promise).
The Beauty Chef Plumpers Collagen Chewables in Vanilla Bean
If you want to take collagen but can't be bothered with mixing powders or adding it to your coffee, these chewables from The Beauty Chef are genius. They taste great (the new vanilla bean flavour is excellent) and just three tablets gets your the recommended daily dose. I'd happily eat more.
Maggie Marilyn Forever Comb
Just in from Maggie Marilyn, this beautiful bordeaux comb. It's made from acetate, while the teeth are wide enough to detangle post swim, or during your Sunday everything shower.
RMS Beauty Legendary Lip Oil
This feels like a grown up version of the viral lip oils I see all over TikTok. It's light and glossy, but the shades are grown up (i.e. easy to wear). It's also beautifully hydrating thanks to jojoba and bitter cherry seed oils.
Guash Body Facial Cupping Kit
My new thing is facial cupping. I'm still perfecting my technique, but this Guash Cupping Set makes it pretty easy. I definitely notice it depuffs and lifts my complexion, plus I love the ritual.
