Some folk can wax lyrical about Parisian 'It" girl style until the cows come home; tousled tresses, breton stripes and basket bags have held space in our wardrobes for a long time. But here at RUSSH, we're energised by the sartorial spirit of another location — namely New York City. The way we see it is we'll always opt for bodega coffee and a stoop over a picnic on the Seine. Always. That's why when New York Fashion Week swings around, our attention span is wholly dedicated to the looks arriving on and off the runway. And since it's a well known fact that New York City comes alive during the colder months, we're looking to designers like Proenza Schouler, Khaite and Eckhaus Latta to dish out lessons on winter layers. These lessons can also be found on the street, so while we wait in between shows for our dose of serotonin, we're looking to street style for quintessential New York City dressing.
