There's always something so deeply attractive about the idea of a Friday night in, spent in the company of everyone's favourite streaming platform; Netflix.
Although this pandemic has presented many of us with the unique opportunity to 'finish Netflix,' the platform has continued to hold up its end of the bargain by providing us with new releases to be excited about. With that being said, Netflix has officially shared its November releases, and the binge-worthy list certainly delivers. Below, we've rounded up all the Netflix November releases we'll be watching this coming month.
Dawson's Creek - November 1
An early nought's classic, Dawson Creek quickly cemented itself as one of the most popular teen-drama series of its time. The six-series show follows the story of four teenagers through adolescence, and features now-Hollywood stars, Katie Holmes, James Van der Beek, Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams.
The Crown season 4 – November 15
Netflix's hit series, The Crown, is back for its fourth season, exploring the British royal family throughout the 1980s – with an introduction to 'the people's princess' Lady Diana Spencer.
Shameless season 10 – November 21
With the family's leader, Fiona, off on a new stage of her life, the Gallagher family dynamics are sure to change. As the new head of house, Debbie rules over the family with an iron fist, forcing Frank to hold his – not without a few disastrous moments along the way.
The Life Ahead – November 13
Legendary actress Sophia Loren is making a return to screen after more than a decade, with the announcement of her new film, The Life Ahead. Based on Romain Gary's novel, The Life Before Us, the film follows Loren's character Madame Rosa, an elderly Holocaust survivor who takes in a 12-year-old Senegalese orphan, Momo (Ibrahima Gueye).
Dolly Parton's Christmas On The Square – November 22
There's nothing that could bring quite the same amount of Christmas cheer than a holiday musical starring country and pop music superstar Dolly Parton – and that's exactly what Netflix is giving us. Dolly Parton's Christmas On The Square follows the tale of a bitter woman who plans to sell a small town with plans to evict its residents right before Christmas. The film will feature 14 original songs and lyrics written by Parton.
Citation – November 6
Based on a true story, Citation follows a bright Nigerian student who takes on the academic establishment when she reports a popular professor who tried to rape her.
Voices of Fire – November 20
This docuseries will follow artist Pharrell Williams on his search to build a world class gospel choir in his hometown of Hampton Roads, Virginia.
