Ciao! This is fashion editor Charlotte Agnew coming to you live from Milan Fashion Week Fall 2022, giving you an inside look into my editor's diary for the week.
Gucci, Prada, Versace, Fendi, Bottega Veneta and many more were the anticipation of Fall season 22 of Milan Fashion Week. With the world newly back at physical fashion weeks, the energy was full and present and I couldn’t wait to experience it all.
Fendi opened the week with Bella Hadid leading the runway, the revived 2000’s silhouette and sheer pastel hues presented a sophisticated and fun collection which I can’t wait to shoot. The hard-wave hairstyle also instantly reminded me of the 2012 look. Prada was a moment to remember forever with Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons really speaking to each other on this collection. It felt balanced and collaborative but completely fresh. RUSSH favourite faces Julia Nobis and Kaia Gerber were present on the runway with a surprise close from Euphoria’s Hunter Schafer. The girls walking to the soundtrack of Depeche Mode left me feeling Prada’s closing statement of the show; “you want to live again, you want to be inspired. And to learn from the lives of people”.

Amidst the pace of the shows, getting to visit Marchesi (Prada’s own café) that serves the most delicate and delicious horderves with every drink you order next to the duomo cathedral and walking through Villa Necchi Campiglio have shaped the week into a dream I could keep living.
I keep noticing the chic women of Milan all wearing a Cruella de Vil hair style which sees black and white hair lines worn short, long, and every in-between, noting this hair-trend for coming months.
With half the week finished, I’m looking forward to seeing where the remainder of designers have focused their ideas and what I’ll be inspired by in coming RUSSH issues.
