Embellished tweed ballet flats and the perfect carry-all: These are our May luxury fashion favourites

The first six months of the year have been filled with plenty of fun fashion dreams – and lengthy shopping wishlists to accompany them. We've experimented with sheer and lace pieces thanks to the trend that was seen all over the runway at Australian Fashion Week, re-discovered the once coveted slogan t-shirt as a result of our undying obsession with Challengers, and fell back in love with the once shunned bubble skirt. Now that the change of season has officially kicked in, I am tending to the big 'not travelling to Europe'-shaped hole in my heart by finding joy in a selection of fashionable luxury favourites to add to my wardrobe.

A selection of timeless closet pieces and fun 'staples' (because an extremely comfortable Christian Louboutin kitten heel is always a necessity – even in canary yellow), this month's offering of lust-worthy items includes some of my favourite pieces of the year. The newly-reimagined Cartier Trinity Cushion Ring has been on my mind since it featured in our most recent RUSSH Love issue; could this be the month I finally pull the trigger? And in way of necessities, I have been desperate for a long-line tailored coat that I can wear on its own with a turtle neck and stockings, or on top of a more casual look for every day wear. Enter Beare Park, obviously.

So, if you too are in need of some retail therapy or a winter wardrobe reset, I'm certain you'll find something to adore in our May luxury fashion favourites.
