Nike's ongoing partnership with Matthew M. Williams is the only thing stopping our wardrobes of athleisure from going under. Its all black amphibian-Lara-Croft energy is one we keep coming back to as our exercise gear of choice. Now, for those whose preferred form of exercise takes place over the steadying force of a yoga mat, then we've got some news for you. The Givenchy creative director has just dropped a sneak peek of his latest collection with Nike and your warrior one pose is about to get a whole lot chicer.
Over Instagram Matthew M. Williams teased us all with a glimpse of what to expect from his latest collaboration with Nike. In the post, a zodiac-esque circle captures a person transitioning through ten different yoga poses, from inversions to trikonasana. The person is clothed in a long sleeve, body-hugging top and black yoga tights, a vision of practicality, comfort and security.

While details are scarce at the moment, we do have a date for the Matthew M. Williams x Nike collection launch. So jot down December 20, 2021 in your calendar dear pals, because you're not going to want to miss this. The collection, titled 005 MMW YOGA is Williams' first yoga collection for the sportswear company, but not his first with Nike in general. Earlier in May this year the designer released an activewear collection with Nike that they dubbed the 'training series'. It featured cropped tops, heavily dosed in buckles and the colour black. We're imagining the yoga collection to be much the same.
