The Matildas maelstrom has well and truly arrived. With the commencement of the Olympics over the weekend, we haven't had a second of rest. Between divvying our time from the rousing performances and the swimming events, the main concentration of our time is going to the Tillies. Our eyes will be glazed to our screens until the entire spectacle ends – which is, in our opinion, when they bring it home. There's been victories abounding, but as always, we're always leaping toward what's next. Who will the Matildas face off against next on the field?

Who have the Matildas competed against so far?
The Matildas have capped off the Olympics season with both wins and losses so far. The team lost their opening match 3-0 to Germany at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Following that, the team secured a historic upset win of 6-5 against Zambia (with eleven goals scored), placing the Matildas in the running for the main competing matches for the big games ahead.
Who will the Matildas play next?
This one is sure to be a doozy. Australia will go head to head against the United States at 7:00 PM local time at the State de Marseille. As the final standing in Group B, the team will take on the USA in the final group stage game of the Paris 2024 Olympics women’s football tournament on Thursday. Australians will be able to watch from home at 3:00 AM AEST.
